How to Apply The Membrane Glue?

Applying membrane glue is the same as other kinds of glue. First, you have to measure where you will use and how much foil you will use. We want to tell the process with a kitchen cabinet example. You can have an idea of the measures we use in our example.

First, you have to take measures of the PVC foil application area. You should choose your foils according to these measures. When choosing the foils, you should prefer block foils instead of individual foil parts. This will help you decide about the glue. For example; if we will use 14 pairs of foils, the necessary amount of these 14 parts is 5kg. (If the heights of the parts are up to 2m.)

So we take our 5-kg-membrane-glue, first open the cap and start to mix it. After mixing for a while, the material gains its full performance. Then we wipe the application surface with a moist cloth. This way we get rid of all the dust, stain, or dirt.

Then we apply the material on the foil or directly to the cabinet, and we start to paste them gently. The drying period is shorter than other glues, so you should be quick to make the symmetry. Otherwise, you can’t fix it after the drying period. So you may have to start from the beginning again.
